Roughing it is more fun at Big Bear River Resort!
The resort offers 40 primitive campsites and 11 RV spots with electric hook-ups.
RV SITES
RV sites are $35 per night | $45 on Fri/Sat with electricity, plus $8/adult (13 years and up) and $3/child (4 – 12 years); children 3 years and under camp free.
Six Big Bear RV spots can accommodate vehicles up to 40 ft., including a deluxe “J.B.’s RV Spot” on a concrete pad and deck furnished with patio furniture. RV sites are electric only with either 30 and 50 amp or 110 amp hookups. The resort has 2 free water filling stations plus a dump site available.
PRIMITIVE CAMPSITES
Camping sites are $8/adult (13 years and up) and $3/child (4 – 12 years); children 3 years and under camp free.
The four 110 amp RV sites are also available for campers either in a single pop-up camper or up to 2 tents (8 people) per spot. Pets are welcome to join guests during their stay, but please read about the fees and rules on our Pet Policy page.
Most campsites are close to the Niangua and a short walk to Mama Bear’s Mini Mart, which has a shower house with hot showers and flush toilets. Breakfast is also served at Mama Bear’s on Saturday mornings during the summer season.
CAMPGROUND RULES
- All trash must be bagged and properly disposed of in trash cans available throughout the resort. Absolutely no trash or cans may be placed or burned in the fire pits.
- The resort welcomes pets but they must be leashed at all times. Guests must pick up and properly dispose of pet waste in trash cans.
- No ATVs, UTVs, golf carts or side-by-sides are permitted on the resort property.
- No firearms or fireworks are permitted on the resort property.
- Security is on-duty Friday and Saturday nights May through September. Local, state and federal laws will be observed and enforced.
